All sentient beings will live if they eat sweet foods, and will die if they eat poison. When all sentient beings seek Samathi, they should eliminate the five spicy vegetables in the world. These are five kinds of pungent food: eating cooked food will cause lust, and eating raw food will increase your anger. Such people who eat spicy food in the world can preach the twelve sutras. The celestial immortals in all directions, they all think they are smelly and filthy. All hungry ghosts lick their lips and kiss them because they ate the food. Always live with ghosts. Good fortune will be sold daily. No benefits for a long time. This is a person who eats pungent and practices samadhi, a Bodhisattva, a celestial being, and a good god from all directions, and does not come to protect it. The powerful demon king has obtained his convenience and appears as a Buddha to preach the Dharma, not to destroy the precepts, praise lust, anger, and ignorance. He will be his own family after his death. After the devil and blessings are gone, you will fall into the Avici Hell. Ananda. Those who practice Bodhi will forever eliminate the five pungents. This is called the first step in improving the gradual practice. How righteous? Ananda. Such sentient beings must first strictly observe the pure precepts when entering Samadhi. Forever cut off lustfulness. No wine and meat. Use fire to cleanse food, and there is no vitality to eat. Ananda. If a practitioner continues to lust and kill, he will leave the three realms without any use. You should observe lust, like a poisonous snake, like seeing a resentful thief. First, hold on to the four abandoned one’s ears and abandon one’s ears and hold on to one’s body and remain unmoved. Later, I practice the pure and preceptive laws of the Bodhisattva, but my mind will not arise. If the precepts are accomplished, there will never be any karma of mutual generation and mutual killing in the world. If you steal and robbery are not done, you will not be burdened with each other, and you will not repay your past debts in the world. This is a pure person who practices samadhi. His parents' physical body does not require a divine eye and naturally observes the ten directions of the world. Seeing the Buddha and hearing the Dharma, I personally obey the imperial edict. Get great powers and travel to the ten directions. The fate is pure and there is no hardship or danger. This is called the second step to improve the gradual practice. How can karma appear? Ananda. In this way, people have no greed and lust, and do not have much ease in the six external dusts. Because he did not let go, he returned home. Since dust is not fate, the roots are not coherent. Reflux is all one, six cannot be used. The lands of all directions are bright and pure. Like glass, the bright moon hangs inside. The body and mind are fast, the wonderful and round are equal, and the great peace and seclusion are obtained. All the secret, perfect, pure and wonderful Tathagata appear in it. This person will attain the Dharma of Non-birth. From then on, we will gradually cultivate and establish a holy position according to the release. This is called the third step to improve the gradual practice.
