The Buddha said, "Stop!end!end!"I said three "stop", what should I stop?"Don't stop, it's hard to think about my Dharma." The Buddha said, "I won't talk, I won't talk, I won't talk, I won't talk, I won't talk, I won't talk about the Lotus Sutra anymore!"Why?My Lotus Sutra is so wonderful!It is hard to think and it is hard to believe.I'd better not say it, I won't say it anymore, don't say it anymore!"But Venerable Shariputra must ask Shakyamuni Buddha to speak the Lotus Sutra.

Many Buddhist disciples have been abstaining from eating meat for many years, but they have always eaten eggs, duck eggs, etc. So, should Buddhist disciples eat these eggs?

Let me tell you a real story first: At a Dharma Assembly, Mr. Chen brought her colleague Xiaolin.Kobayashi is about 35 years old, her thin face is yellow-gray, and she looks very haggard.Since it was the first time I met Teacher Guoqing, her eyes were filled with joy and desire. In the process of listening to the Dharma, she was pious and focused.

When Teacher Guoqing asked Xiaolin what was wrong, she suddenly turned red with nervousness and said nothing. With Mr. Chen's supplement, everyone understood: Xiaolin, who had been married for ten years, was very eager to have a child, but no matter how she sought medical treatment, she had never been pregnant.Today I was lucky enough to meet Teacher Guoqing and asked for advice.

Teacher Guoqing sympathized with her very much. She sighed deeply for this "no need to seek" and turned around and said to me, "Guohong, come and see what is the reason why she has no children?" I looked up at Xiaolin and met her eyes that were eager to be longed for. I couldn't help but sigh: "Do you like eating eggs very much? Especially the small quail eggs?"

“Yes, I like to eat quail eggs in skewers, this…” There was a clear confusion in the tone of the second half of the sentence.The understanding Mr. Chen asked her a question: "Everyone thinks eggs are nutritious foods, and before we encounter Buddhism, each of us was eating eggs, so why can't Xiaolin get pregnant?"

I looked at Teacher Guoqing next to me. The teacher's affirmative and encouraging eyes made me continue, "The Buddha said that eating bird eggs is because he has no compassion.When Master Xuanhua taught about eating eggs, he humorously and seriously said to the questioner: 'If you are not afraid of making chickens and laying eggs for others to eat in the next life, you can eat any eggs'.Because of the complexity of cause and effect, everyone has different blessings and causes. Although they are eating eggs, the consequences that everyone receives are different.If you want your child, you must eliminate all meat, including all eggs, release more animals, and recite the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" and dedicate it to all sentient beings you have eaten.”

After saying this, I looked at Kobayashi again and felt that she did not fully believe it.She wanted to hear the cause and effect story about her infertility, but after being revealed, she thought it was a common thing, so she was a little disappointed.I felt sorry that Xiaolin believed it if she couldn't hear it, so she said more directly: "You just want to have a child now. Did you think that the eggs, duck eggs, etc. that you ate were the children born by the mother chickens and mother ducks! "

At this time, Teacher Guoqing said to Xiaolin: "The reason for the cause and effect that Guohong told you is correct. You must follow the method she said. You will be able to attract good children. It is best to let your lover practice with you.”

At this time, Teacher Guoqing told a real story: "There is a female section chief of the Biology Institute. Her daughter has been married for four years and has never had children. She uses her professional knowledge to guide her daughter and son-in-law to seek medical treatment, but the helpless result makes her doubt her scientific research theory.The female section chief's sad look frowned, making people sigh that "the hearts of parents in the world are pitiful."

I told her: 'Your daughter and son-in-law both like to eat eggs, among which quail eggs are the favorite. This is their common karma without children. If you want to have children, you must eat vegetarian food, release animals, recite scriptures, and do more good deeds.'The next six months, the female section chief's daughter and son-in-law did this method seriously, and now her daughter is pregnant.”

As soon as Teacher Guoqing's story was finished, Mr. Li, a doctor, asked me why I came to the hospital to treat secondary infertility now. (I was pregnant but had an abortion, but now I want a baby but I can't )There are so many patients? I tell you that every child has a deep connection with his parents. In the long river of reincarnation, the chance of being reincarnated is very small. However, these parents have had artificial abortions casually for various reasons, but they did not know that they committed a serious crime similar to killing an Arhat.

In addition, if you wantonly kill animals and eat meat, excessive killing will inspire bad retribution for the death of the children and grandchildren.I saw Kobayashi and others nodding frequently in agreement. I was so happy that Kobayashi was awakened. I hope that with the blessing of the Buddha, she can correct her mistakes and be kind, keep the precepts and practice, and give birth to a noble son as soon as possible!

Half a year later, Mr. Chen, who brought her here, told me on the phone: Xiaolin followed our guidance and is pregnant now. Thank you very much.

There are many similar examples in history that show that eggs are inedible. For example, in "Fayuan Zhulin", Emperor Wu of Zhou in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Yuwen Yong liked to eat eggs and ate several meals.There was a chef in charge who cooked for Emperor Wu. After Emperor Wu's death, he continued to be the chef in charge of Emperor Wen of Sui. One day, the chef suddenly died suddenly and recovered three days later. He told his experience: He went to hell and saw Emperor Wu and the King of Hell. The King of Hell asked the chef in charge: "How many eggs do you cook for Emperor Wu? How many eggs do you cook for Emperor Wu?" The chef told the truth: "Don't remember the number.”
