Gaden Monastery is located on the hillside of the Jinsha River in Baiyu County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, just a mountain away from Tibet.
If you drive there, when the car rises along the winding mountain road, you can see the red Tibetan wooden house on the opposite side of the mountainside. The nearby hillside is full of barley land, which is a very beautiful pastoral scenery.
In addition to natural scenery, Gaden Monastery has many other attractions. Looking at Gaden Monastery from afar, the most spectacular one is the golden mandala. In comparison, this mandala is more spectacular and more magnificent than the mandala of Seda Buddha Academy.
This mandala of the Hundred Civil and Military Masters in the Middle East is divided into six floors:
The first floor is the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas. There are ten thousand statues of Amitabha Buddha. The garden is above the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall, representing the guardian wheel, providing the purpose of rest for believers when worshiping. Outside the garden is the solemn nature of the eight great corpse trees, and the outermost is the vajra wall. The outermost is a corridor trail symbolizing the five-color wisdom flame. There are 400 prayer drums in the corridor trail.
The second floor is 25 retreat rooms, for yogis to practice in retreat.
The third floor is dedicated to the forty-two brass and golden statues of Silence, surrounded by King Gesar and his relatives and other guardians. Next to the hall gate are the four guardians of Ming Kings. There are a total of sixteen heavenly women offering sacrifices on the Miaoyu steps outside the hall.
The fifth floor enshrines the Samantabhadra Tathagata surrounded by rainbow light, symbolizing the original mind and nature. Four golden-winged birds stand outside.
The sixth floor is the Golden Pinnacle Relic Tower.
“The father of Gaden, King Mozha, personally dictated the prophecy: "Anyone who has formed a connection with the Hundred Mandalas of Civil and Military Tribes and Ten Thousand Buddhas where this holy land is located will definitely be reborn in the Western Paradise! Anyone who is destined to see this mandala or even a photo, if he has a thought of respecting him, he will not fall into the three evil realms, and will become a human being for seven lifetimes and become a Buddha in the eighth lifetime. ”
Shiming Buddhist College
Like Seda Five Buddhist College, Gaden Shiming Buddhist College was also built for monks to study and study. The foundation was laid in 2005 and started construction in 2008. Now it has been completed and started. The first phase of Shiming Buddhist College can accommodate more than 2,000 teachers and students in daily life and study needs.
Note: The "Ten Mingxue" taught by Shiming Buddhist College refers to the five Mingshu and the five Mingshu. “The Five Mings" means cleverness, medical prescriptions, statements, information, and internal clarity ； “Xiao Wuming" has great Tibetan characteristics, including rhetoric, rhetoric, rhythm, drama, and astrology as its main majors.

The starting point of the White Tower is at the foot of the mountain, where there is a clear stream, where the cows are drinking water comfortably, and they are in the Buddha's kingdom, everything is quiet and peaceful.

Gaden Monastery, whose full name is "Gaden Dojidan", means "the Vajra Statue built on a huge stone engraved with the word Ga". Its history can be traced back to the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty 860 years ago. It has a long history and is a well-deserved ancestral temple of the Nyingma School.
Gaden Monastery was not a temple at first, but a holy place where Padmasambhava practiced. Later, believers began to build houses around the holy land and used them as places of religious activities. Gaden, as a holy land, gradually began to form settlements.
However, the initially preaching Buddhist teachings in Gaden Monastery was not the monks who accepted the strict precepts of monks, but the most important force in the Nyingma school’s inheritance - lay people, or wise men. Gaden Monastery was officially formed.
Later, many great monks and monks chose to go to Gaden Monastery to preach the Dharma and recruit disciples. After these disciples and grandchildren left, they spread the seeds of Gaden again and spread all over the world. Finally, Gaden Monastery ranked first among the six major ancestral temples today.
