Tips for constant and unrestrainedness and corresponding to the law

You should first observe your own mind and act safely and rationally

If the body wants to move, or the mouth wants to speak,

You should first observe your own mind and act safely and rationally.

If our bodies want to move, or our mouths want to speak, then we should first observe our minds before, practice them safely and rationally, and pursue good deeds.

This key point is always a very special and critical issue. Because our body and speech are controlled by our mind, we cannot move immediately if we want to move, and do it immediately if we want to do it. If we do something without considering it in advance, it may lead to adverse consequences. Therefore, as a Bodhisattva, you should not be careless, that is, be cautious. Before doing something in the body, speech and mind, you need to consider it carefully. Only in this way can every thing and every thought be able to correspond to the Dharma as much as possible during the practice.

Although it is difficult for us to respond to the Dharma every time we have thoughts, speech and mind, we cannot give up our efforts and try to observe our own mind before moving our bodies and speaking, observe its necessity, find good intentions, and then do this. If we do not observe in the process of doing things and lack this concept, we will not have the opportunity to observe our own mind to settle on good deeds. Although we cannot observe our own mind first in the moment, at least I have this idea. With this idea, we can observe our body and our mind as much as possible. Therefore, through continuous learning and hard work, the ability is strengthened, and finally, you can truly observe your thoughts and actions before every body moves and every time you want to speak, find the best intentions, and then put them into practice. This has become a very smooth and simple thing.

So when our bodies want to move, we must observe our mind: What exactly does the body move? When the body moves, including walking, even if you move your body or do some movements, you have to observe whether it is in line with the Dharma or with evil karma? For example: If you want to prostrate, this corresponds to the Dharma, I can do it ; You can do it by going to the turbulence and in accordance with the Dharma. If my body moves and wants to do something illegal, I have to observe that it is not in line with the Dharma and is in line with the evil karma, and then stop it and cannot let it move, because after moving, it becomes a fact, and the evil karma will be perfect, which will be of no benefit to the practice of oneself and others.

This is especially true when you want to speak. Many sins and disputes are caused by inadvertent attention to speaking. Therefore, before we speak, we must observe our own mind: What is the purpose of saying this? If it is for the sake of being competitive, I won’t say it. If it is for the sake of benefiting others, it is necessary. Even if you have a fearful heart and emotion, you must overcome it, because it will definitely benefit all living beings. After analysis and observation, we adjust our hearts to the best state and then say meaningful words under the command of such hearts. This is very important.

Especially in public, we must pay attention that when our body needs to do some movements or speak, we must first observe the occasion and observe our own mind. The master often asks this question when he is giving lectures, and there are such teachings in the omniscient Mipham Rinpoche's "The Lord's Rules and the Lord's Rules and the Sakya Pandita's "The Treasure of the Aphorisms". Especially when speaking when there are many people, we should pay more attention. Because everyone has different preferences and basic intentions, sometimes what they say will hurt some people's hearts, which is unnecessary for themselves. So try to consider these different situations as much as possible before speaking, observe and adjust your intentions after thinking about it, and say what you should say, and don’t say what you shouldn’t say. So first observe the state of one's own mind, and then "take steady and rational action."

Stability means stability. When our bodies move, we should not be unstable, and we should not speak unstable. Therefore, the body, mind, body and mouth are practiced in a very steady, reasonable way of adhering to good deeds. If this can be done, our body, speech, and mind can be adjusted to the state of the Dharma, and we can be able to correspond to the Dharma when moving the body and speaking. If we can do this, we can correspond to the Dharma except for the time we are meditating and practicing in the upper class, and we are basically all-weather practitioners. It would be wrong that I was practicing Buddhism during the 20 minutes of sitting, but after getting off the seat, I was completely manifested as an ordinary lady or a barbarian. Therefore, try to keep our body, speech and mind in a good state all day long through this method.
