Lesson 17 of Common Knowledge in Buddhism: How to Make No Omissions

「"Leak" means leaking to the outside. This omission is the affliction, but it is just a metaphor. If a water bottle has holes, then the water

It is meant to leak outward.

There are four explanations for the leak:

1. The six sense organs, such as the eyes and ears, are constantly attached to the objects of desire, causing troubles to arise and leak out.

2. Worries are more damaging than a vase, and the heart is worse than water. If there are only worries, there will be leakage of the heart.

3. Due to troubles, the right path will be lost.

4. Because of worries, one can lose sight of life and death.

In all dharmas in the world, if you don't know the harm caused by troubles, if you don't think about eliminating them, and if you don't ask whether things are good or evil, there will always be leaks. The transcendental dharma is arbitrary troubles;

Having attained nirvana, it is called the one without leakage.
