The so-called "Buddha" refers to the state of purity. It contains two meanings: the first is the retribution and incarnation of Buddhas such as Amitabha, Medicine Buddha, and Shakyamuni Buddha that we usually visualize; On a deeper level, the true Buddha is the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, that is, the nature of our mind.
The incarnation of the Buddha is to liberate sentient beings, and the form that appears in front of them is more in line with the view of ordinary people, but in fact it is not a real Buddha.
The true Buddha is the Dharma body of the Buddha, that is, the nature of the mind. ... The mantra of true victory is not sound, words, language and symbols, but the nature of the mind Light Tathagata.
The mantras we usually recite, such as Vajrasattva's mantra "Umban Zarsa Ṣṇa", also have six different levels of understanding.
Our current understanding is the lowest among them, and we believe that the essence of mantras is human language and voice, and the difference between mantras and ordinary speaking and singing is only whether there is blessing or not, whether there is the power to remove obstacles and achieve achievement, but the essence is our own voice.
The highest level of understanding is to know that the mantra "Hum Ban Zarsa Hum" is Vajrasattva, and Vajrasattva Buddha is completely identical to the sound "Hum Ban Zarsa Hum" that we recite.
When many people see the Vajrasattva Buddha statue, they will think that the Buddha statue is very meritorious and should bow respectfully, but they think that the mantra is a sound made by themselves and there is nothing worthy of respect, which is wrong.
Originally, the Vajrasattva Buddha statue was also an image painted by the painter with minerals and other pigments, and there was also a leak, and the difference between it and the animal image was only a difference in blessing effect, but there was no difference in essence, it was all a picture. Because we regard Vajrasattva Buddha as a Buddha statue with blessing power, the Buddha image can work for us; If we look at Buddha statues as animal portraits, then even Buddha statues will not have any blessing effect.
In fact, the Vajrasattva image painted on the wall is seen by our eyes, and when our eyes feel the Vajrasattva image, the Vajrasattva image is actually my own eye consciousness, that is, the phenomenon of the mind. Similarly, the sound of reciting "Humban Zarsa Hum" is the object felt by our ears, our ears, and the phenomenon of the mind.
In other words, the Buddha seen by the eyes and the mantras recited in the mouth are both phenomena of Buddha wisdom, one is expressed in the form of sound, and the other is in the form of images. If we can understand the truth that mantras and Buddha statues are equal, mantras can play their due role.
The simplest visualization is to use the Vajrasattva mantra as the language of prayer to Vajrasattva, just like calling a person's name in real life, if you are devout enough, you can see Vajrasattva and receive Vajrasatttva blessings even if you don't have any right knowledge.
The world is a reflection of our hearts, not something that really exists, and the world is determined by our hearts, not by the Creator, etc., and is not without cause or cause, without order or law. When the heart changes, the world changes.
The impure phenomena that we perceive now, even the phenomenon of purity, are all reflections of habits. What is habit? For example, if you sprinkle something colored on the snow on the ground, the color will remain on the ground when the snow melts. Similarly, if we steal something, this karma of stealing will be stored in the Alaya consciousness in a similar way to energy, like paint on snow. This energy is called habit.
