Zhu, a native of Jiachuan, had been practicing Buddhist teachings for thirty years. He also held the Diamond Sutra, and when he opened the book, he often thought that the sages were watching and did not dare to sit still. Suddenly, he fasted and drank several bowls of water a day. After forty days, he dreamed that three monks held lotus flowers in their hands and said to the old woman, "I planted this flower for you first, and it will bloom today, so I came to welcome you."
