This is indeed true, because the Buddhist scriptures say that releasing animals to be reborn, and constantly releasing animals is the method of permanent residence.(Editor's note: The Brahma Net Sutra says, "Therefore, you should practice the method of releasing animals, rebirth and receiving birth, and teach people to release animals.”)

If you release animals and live, you will let others live, and others will let you live;If you save other people's lives, others will save your lives.Always practice releasing animals is the method of permanent residence. If you release animals frequently, you will live a long life and be able to stand in the world.

Some people have good fate everywhere because they release animals in their previous lives.Some monks listen to the Dharma alone and say: Oh, there is someone like you who listens.People said, it’s not me who came to listen, because the bench you are on is ours, so I’m waiting to take it back.(Everyone laughed) There is not a single person, it is not that he did not speak well, but that he did not form this good relationship with sentient beings in his previous life.What kind of good fate?If you should be saved, no one will listen to your preaching.There are many people who listen to the Dharma, most of whom are good causes and conditions in their previous lives. Without this cause and effect, they do not come to listen to the Dharma. If you ask him to come, they will not come.When you meet in life, you will have three lives of fate, past, present and future.We often release animals. I think many people want to release animals. They all think that they will have many disciples in the future. I think they may have this idea.Release more animals.Our masters also like to release animals. I said, "You can release animals, and do it all (qualifications). In the future, you will have more disciples, so it will be easier to manage."Don’t be like me who doesn’t like releasing animals. My apprentice left after staying for a few days, and the release of animals was not done well.

The benefits of releasing animals can reduce diseases and cultivate our compassion.Many people have major diseases and will immediately get better by releasing animals.Originally, there was a leader in Benxi who had leukemia.At that time, I had just arrived in Benxi and the layman went to ask me, "Look, what should I do if he has leukemia?"What method should be used?I said you can release animals.It just so happened that he went to Tianjin and bought all the things in the sea that day in Tianjin. If the car continued to drive, and as soon as it accelerated, the accident of the car being destroyed and people being killed would not be able to escape.Before he could get on the bus, the others discovered this problem and avoided another major disaster.So he firmly believes in releasing animals and is still releasing animals now.
