Since the publication of "Pure Land Exploration", thanks to readers' love, this book has benefited all living beings in various places.Thank you for your reaction and letters, I hope to read this book so that the public can benefit from Buddhism and the Pure Land practice.
「"The Pure Land Study" only uses the fundamental practice and basic discussion of the principles of cause and effect of forming the Pure Land in Amitabha's sixteen great vows to become Buddhas, the principles of how sentient beings in the Pure Land practice, as well as the light and lifespan of the Buddha's body, etc.In fact, the overall cultivation and verification significance of the "Mahayana Pure Land" is extremely profound, vast, boundless, and incredible. It is not something that ordinary people who have not attained "full enlightenment" can see through its foundation. We can only briefly explain its meaning according to the Mahayana sutras. You should know that the laws spoken by the Buddhas in the ten directions are like the vastness of the universe. The laws known and learned by ordinary people are just like a grain of rice in the vast ocean. If you exhaust your whole life, you will not be able to enter the sea of Buddha's wisdom and Dharma!
Especially the Buddhas' wishes to become Buddhas cannot be studied by writing and ink. However, from the text of Prajna, explaining how all Buddhas solemnly adorn the great vows of the Pure Land, it is an indispensable learning resource for future generations to enter the Buddhist path.
The great vows of all Buddhas can be represented by Amitabha's forty-eight vows. However, if you want to use the "Forty-eight Vows of Amitabha" to exert the world-saving function of all Buddhas to benefit sentient beings, whether from the perspective of the ever-changing and new knowledge level in modern times, or from various learning materials that are rapidly developing Buddhism, and to expound Amitabha's great vows from various angles, you can spread the compassionate vows of all Buddhas to all places in the world where there are good seeds of Buddhas, and to guide sentient beings with various aptitudes, and to understand and practice the original vows of all Buddhas to be reborn in the ten directions of Pure Land to practice Bodhisattva practices, and even the mental journey of Buddhas to develop Pure Land to become Buddhas, which is a fact that modern people who promote Pure Land cannot ignore.
Therefore, the continuation of Pure Land exploration—the path to practice in the Pure Land and the stage of Bodhisattva practice in the Pure Land (The complete chapter of the second chapter of the Mahayana Pure Land ),It is a blueprint for continuing the Pure Land exploration and explaining in a simple and easy-to-understand way of Bodhisattvas practicing and becoming a Buddha.
In the mid-81st year of the Republic of China, northern readers first printed the preface to the practice of the Six Paramitas - "Repentance is the pretext for entering the path" to benefit sentient beings. At the end of the 82nd year, readers in the north and south again published one of the Bodhisattva’s practice stages: “The Way of Perfect Giving” in a single book, which broadly spreads the fans.He received a letter from a southern reader and said: "...Read Master's new work - the Way of Perfect Giving.Weijue Master’s intention is serious and thoughtful, step by step, and he never tires about exploring the mystery of the Pure Land Dharma..."
As the faith said, the content of "the path of perfection of giving" is step by step, and it is tireless to introduce the mysteries of Amitabha to develop the path to becoming a Buddha from the stage of the paramita of giving.
Because the Paramita of Giving is the first of the Six Paramita and the source of learning that is necessary for the Bodhisattva’s practice stages, of course, it is necessary to explain the practical level of practice in detail and in detail.
Others such as the paramita of precepts, the paramita of forbearance, the paramita of meditation, the paramita of Prajna, the paramita of prayer and Brahma (Four immeasurable minds )The progress of each practice is based on a great vow to become a Buddha, and gradually explains the learning process of each method of practice. And the connotation of the six perfect paramitas and practice one by one, the perfect result of the six perfect paramitas and the relationship between the six perfect paramitas and the fifty-two levels of practice of Bodhisattvas (A brief discussion ),And how Bodhisattvas use the process of admiring the Pure Land with the Six Paramitas, and give a detailed explanation of how they penetrate the Pure Land.
Most Buddhists always think that "Pure Land" is the synonym of Amitabha Pure Land. If you have a little idea of digging into the Pure Land of the Ten Directions, you cannot deeply explore the overall aspect of the Pure Land of the Mahayana Pure Land thought.
You should know that "Pure Land" is the deepest Buddhist Dharma, and the highest state of cultivation and verification of Pure Land thought is the Pure Land of the minds of all Buddhas
The realization and the development and completion of the Pure Land of all Buddhas.
If you study the Sutras in depth, you will find that the Mahayana Pure Land thought is profound and profound, covering the essential meanings of the practice and verification of the Hinayana Buddhism.
According to the sutras and treatises such as the "Avatamsaka Sutra", "Bodhisattva Garland Sutra", "Mahayana Secret Sutra", "Mahayana Same-Sex Sutra", "Yikkarma Only Studies, Tiantai Jue Teaching, etc., the manifestations of the Pure Land in the Ten Directions are divided into many levels. Each Buddha has its own different causes and conditions for saving and overlapping causes and conditions for teaching, thus producing different levels and the same types of Pure Land teaching worlds. This shows that the ultimate goal of the Buddhas’ ripening of the Savage Land is the ultimate perfection of the Mahayana Pure Land thought.
How can a Bodhisattva practitioner develop the ideal of becoming a Buddha in the solemn Pure Land? How can the Pure Land of all Buddhas be realized by the power of vows? How can sentient beings in the ten directions achieve the goal of turning impure karma into pure karma and turning impure land into pure karma, is the most important essence of the cultivation and verification of the Mahayana Pure Land into Buddha's path.Only by exploring the above-mentioned "how all Buddhas are strict in their cultivation and verification" can Buddhist disciples briefly see and follow the Buddhas into the "one part" of the Mahayana Pure Land to become a Buddha.
This book aims to guide Buddhist disciples to enter the path of rebirth in the Pure Land and the level of practice of the six paramitas and practicality of the Bodhisattva's causal state. It is the connotation that modern Buddhists need to reflect and learn the most.
With the most sincere intention, the fourteen original wishes of Amitabha, and more than 700,000 words, the author expresses the perfect stage of the Buddhas practicing the Six Paramitas in the Cause.
May Amitabha’s forty-eight vows be revealed in the process of Bodhisattva’s practice of achieving Pure Land and becoming a Buddha, and the forty-eight vows of Amitabha’s 48 compassionate vows that lead sentient beings to practice the Buddhist path with the righteousness of the Dharma.
May Amitabha’s forty-eight vows be in today’s era when sentient beings need to be saved and rely on their own navigation in the era when sentient beings need the most, and become trustworthy resources for sentient beings to escape from the sea of suffering, practice and realize the Buddha’s path, and be reborn in the Pure Land at the right time.
May all sentient beings who are destined to be with Amitabha in the Saha world and Amitabha can receive the blessing of Amitabha’s original vow to save lives in the samadhi of reciting the Buddha’s name and remembering the Buddha’s name, and be reborn in the Pure Land together.
I wish to encourage you with readers to spread the Bodhisattva’s vows and practices of benefiting sentient beings in practicing the Pure Land and becoming a Buddha, and to practice merits, return to sentient beings, and be reborn in the Pure Land with all sentient beings with affinity, return to the Saha world, save sentient beings, and realize the Buddha’s path together!
