Many young local citizens may not know that there is such a Buddhist temple in their neighborhood.Recently, the photographer used the mobile phone map navigation function to ride a shared bicycle to find the Dizang Temple in the courtyard of the community located near the West Tower of Yinchuan and No. 105 Qianjin West Street.

The Dizang Temple is not big and is close to residential buildings.It is reported that it was founded in 1935 and was founded by Huinong people in Ningxia. (1898-1980)。The predecessor of the Ningxia Buddhist Layman Forest was Chengwu Temple, which was the Guandi Temple that was worshipped by Guan Yu during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The current pattern of Ksitigarbha Temple was formed by the continuous construction of Buddhist believers over the years.There is a mountain gate and a front hall in the front yard, a nave in the middle yard, and a Sutra Tower in the upper yard.As soon as I entered the yard, I saw many believers following the presiding sound of wooden fish, chanting "Namo Amitabha".

As a tourist, you can find a "seclusion" temple in the residential community of Yinchuan City, and you can also see more than a dozen believers coming here to "chant Buddha" during the New Year, which makes people feel solemn.

The incense here is also very popular. Today, I only hear the sound of chanting scriptures but can't smell the burning incense.The photographer carefully avoided everyone and watched the different objects, buildings and carvings in the courtyard.

Because I don’t know the customs in the temple, I don’t know anything at will, but I’m very curious about the lack of fireworks in the incense burner.In Chinese Buddhism, Ksitigarbha, Manjushri, Samantabhadra and Guanyin are called the four great bodhisattvas. Ksitigarbha Temple is a name obtained by worshipping Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

According to data, Buddhism believes that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva "being patient and unmoving is like the earth, and meditation is deep and dense like Ksitigarbha."It is also said that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was instructed by Shakyamuni Buddha that before Shakyamuni had destroyed Maitreya, he vowed to save all sentient beings in the six realms, save all sufferings, and then wish to become a Buddha.The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple is located in Jiuhua Mountain in the southeast of Chizhou City, Anhui Province.

In the house where scriptures and many small Buddha statues were placed in the courtyard, I met a young female pilgrim.She told that during the Chinese New Year, everyone came to chant Buddha's name, and sincerity will make you feel good.There were fewer people coming here, but there were the most people in Haibaota Temple by Beita Lake, and he told the photographer to go and take a look.

This temple covers a small area and is in an east-west direction.

According to information, in 1984, the monk Yang Zhandi was the first to apply to the government to restore the Ningxia Buddhist Buddhist Forest and hung the sign of Dizang Temple.In 1986, he convened people to design and build the nave in the Ming and Qing style of the Zhongwei Temple. This is the fifth reconstruction of the temple here and continues the incense until now.

The buildings in Dizang Temple are mostly made of wood-brick-concrete structures, and the painted red wooden pillars are still relatively bright in color.But there were many tributes and plastic bags wrapped in tribute on the incense table, and there were a few empty wine bottles placed in the back of the seat, which looked like garbage and no one was cleaning up.

Among all the buildings of Dizang Temple, only the Sutra Building of the Shangyuan Temple preserves its original appearance, and the other houses were restored later.The Sutra Library is a place for religious activities for lay Buddhists in Yinchuan and is an important physical material for studying Yinchuan Buddhism.On April 24, 1993, it was announced as the second batch of cultural relics protection units by the Yinchuan Municipal People's Government.
