When others asked, they were put aside or refused to answer.I really don't agree with it, nor can I accept the Buddha's approach. If the Buddha does not tell me the correct answers to these thesis, then I will question him and abandon him.”
So, the Venerable Malagazi went to see the Buddha and asked the Buddha to give him a clear answer to the above ten topics. If he didn't know the answer, he had to admit that he didn't know, otherwise he would give up and leave him.
After hearing his purpose, the Buddha asked him back, "Marokazi! I have told you before, come! Marokazi! Come and practice pure practice with me. Will I answer the topics of the world as permanence, impermanence, boundless, boundless, etc.?"
“No, World Honored One!”
“Or, when you came to become a monk, you asked me, 'World-Honored One! I am willing to follow you to practice pure practice. May the World answer me the topics of the world being permanent, impermanent, boundless, boundless, etc.?'? "
“Neither, World Honored One!”
“Since that's the case, who can you, a lost person, give up? And what should you give up?
If someone wants to get answers to these thesis before he is willing to practice pure practice, he may not be able to find the answer until his death.It's like someone was shot by a poisonous arrow, and relatives and friends were going to find a doctor for him to treat him, but he said that he would not treat him before he could investigate the racial identity, name, height, skin color, residence, and the materials and production methods of the bow, arrow, body, and tail feather used.In this way, this person had long died before these issues were investigated.
Morokazi! Whether it is permanent or impermanent in the world, I have always taught everyone that they should eliminate birth, old age, sickness, death, sorrow, and suffering, all of them still exist.The world has boundlessness, boundlessness, and other topics. The same is true for other topics. Regardless of the existence or not of these views, the birth, old age, sickness, and sorrow and distress that I have always taught everyone that should be eliminated.
So, Morokazi! Remember everything I don’t say, remember everything I say, and keep it that way!
What is what I don’t say?'The world is permanent, impermanent, boundless, boundless, life and body are one and different. After death, the existence, non-existence, existence and non-existence, neither existence nor non-existence, and anything that I don’t say.
Why don't I say it? Because this cannot benefit people, it does not echo the Dharma, it is not purePracticeThe foundation of the problem cannot be guided by reason, cannot be guided byconsciousness,It cannot lead to detoxification, to extinction, to silence, to nirvana.
What is what I have always said? 'Treatment' is what I have always said, 'Collection of suffering' is what I have always said, 'Destroy of suffering' is what I have always said, and 'The way of suffering' is what I have always said.
Why do I often say it? Because this can benefit people and echo the Dharma, it is the basis of pure practice. It can lead to reason, enlightenment, away from greed, extinction, silence, andNirvana。”
