From a worldly perspective, this is a very unreasonable and very great harm.If you make mistakes, you should bear them. If you have hurt the other party or have had conflicts with the other party, they can understand and think more clearly when they treat themselves like this.But we did not hurt the other party at all, and the other party harmed us unreasonably and even very cruelly.Under such circumstances, ordinary people cannot bear it, they will definitely hold grudges; they will definitely take revenge on the other party, and they will definitely feel hatred; they will also feel wronged or hurt.But as a practitioner, you cannot do this!

The concepts of Buddhism, especially the concepts of Mahayana practice, are completely different from the concepts and thoughts of the world.Therefore, as a Mahayana practitioner, under such circumstances, you cannot develop hatred and cannot harm sentient beings.Moreover, not only do you not hold grudges, not only do you not take revenge, not only do you not feel angry, but you also have to develop false compassion for the other party and accept the other party’s sins.You must make a wish: I hope that the other party will not feel the consequences of this evil karma in the future, and that the consequences will be borne by yourself.To develop such compassion and such bodhicitta, this is the practice of the Bodhisattva and the practice of the Buddhist children.

Why is this? In this way, many people must have some doubts in their hearts: Why can't the other party take revenge on themselves like this? Instead, they should treat the other party well? In fact, as mentioned a few days ago, this is not for no reason. This is the karma they have created in their previous life. Therefore, they must feel such retribution in this life, otherwise they will not be able to feel such retribution in this life.

Therefore, for a practitioner, this is a very good opportunity to eliminate karma.In this case, if you can cultivate forbearance and be able to leave, you can only be free from fate and debt, and finally escape from life and death.For a person who desires liberation, for a true practitioner, this is the top priority and the only ultimate goal.

In this way, through such a good opportunity, you can quickly achieve your ultimate goal.So there is nothing to hold grudges, and it is not necessary to take revenge.If you retaliate against your teeth, or hold grudges or take revenge, you will create karma again and continue to feel the same consequences.This fate cannot be achieved, and this debt cannot be paid.Therefore, this is a good opportunity to get through this opportunity and get through the fate and debt.If you understand the truth, if you are a true practitioner, there is nothing.——This is the first aspect.

Secondly, the other party is our parents in our previous life and our children in our previous life.From the beginning of time to the present, they are also feeling pain in the sea of suffering of reincarnation.In the prison of reincarnation, they are also tightly controlled and bound by these shackles of greed, anger, ignorance and other troubles, and have no freedom.They harm us and hurt us in this way because they are attracted by the troubles such as greed, anger and ignorance, and are not voluntary.

If they were normal people, really wise and really understand the truth, they would not be able to do this.It is because they don’t understand the truth, because they are ignorant and do not know the cause and effect, and they have no choice.How pitiful! We should be kind to them and not hate them!

If your current children suddenly become sick and go crazy, scold you, beat you, or even hurt you, you will kill you.What will you think in your heart? You cannot hate him, you cannot hold a grudge against him, and you cannot take revenge on him.You will definitely be even more pitiful and compassionate to him; you will definitely try your best to get him out of his pain and solve his problems.

Similarly, these enemies are also our parents in our past lives and our children in our past lives.They now have diseases of greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt, which is abnormal now.Really, in front of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, in front of these great monks, we ordinary people are like madmen! They are just a group of madmen! If we understand these principles, we will not be angry, nor will we want to take revenge or harm them.
