A bizarre and tragic incident occurred a few days ago in Qunyi Village, Huangpi District, Wuhan City: the husband did not kill the snake, and his wife was bitten by the snake while passing by the place the next day, and died tragically a week later.
According to the local Yangtze River Daily, on the morning of July 27, a villager surnamed Feng in the village carried a shovel to release water into the field, and found a gray-black venomous snake more than 40 centimeters long, commonly known as the earthworm snake, in his peanut field, so he took a shovel and cut two shovels. The next afternoon, when Feng's wife, who was more than 50 years old, came to the peanut field, she suddenly felt a piercing pain in her feet, and when she looked at it, she was bitten by the injured earth centipede, and her leg slowly swollen like a pillar. Feng's wife was sent to a large hospital in the city to see it, and she also used the rule of law in the folk land, which cost thousands of yuan. On August 3, Feng's wife finally died due to ineffective treatment for toxic spread. (Compass, Xiaofan)
