2010年12月26日，为 11.15 火灾遇难者六七纪念日，奉行佛陀之无缘大慈同体大悲，下午2：00至2：30及晚5：00至9：00，上海静安寺、太平报恩寺以及上海佛学院在般若讲堂举行了为 11.15 火灾遇难者六七上供法会和焰口法会。参加法会的有遇难者家属、生前亲朋好友500多人及居士200多人。
在下午的上供法会上，慧明大和尚亲自主法。在阿弥陀佛号声中，遇难者家属代表将静安寺准备的80种供品一一传到前台，再由慧明大和尚和法师代表传到供台上。
慧明大和尚在法会结束后作了简要开示，希望遇难者家属告别过去，在新的一年里开始新的生活，生命无常，绵绵追思，人生无常，生生相续，祈愿佛菩萨加被，接引逝者往生西方，护佑生者吉祥平安！
