Today, vegan mac and cheese became available for managers at Trader Joe’s to order for their stores, a Trader Joe’s manager confirmed confidentially to VegNews. The new product is a ready-to-eat, 20-ounce meal and will retail for $4.79 in the refrigerated section. The manager does not yet know if the product is available to Trader Joe’s’ store managers nationwide.

A manager of Trader Joe's privately confirmed to VegNews that managers of the supermarket chain can purchase vegan mac and cheese products for their respective stores starting today. The new product is a 20-ounce convenience food that is sold to customers in the supermarket's refrigerated area and retails for $4.79. As for whether all store managers across the U.S. can now source the product, the manager said it is unclear.

In recent months, Trader Joe’s has added a variety of new vegan products to its shelves, including Vegan Chicken-Less Seasoning, coconut milk-based ranch, and coconut milk-based whipped cream (which it brought back last year after discontinuing the product in 2017).

In recent months, Joe's has launched a range of new vegan products, including: vegan chicken-free seasoning, ranch sauce made with coconut milk, and frothy whipped cream made with coconut milk (which was discontinued in 2017 and relaunched last year).
