Why will you eventually lose your bodhicitta?

This is the right thing to hear

Before his death, a man studied Buddhism for twelve years, carefully recited scriptures, vegetarian food, let go, and volunteered in the temple. Later I became very ill and in great pain. He said that the reason for his illness was: First, the desire to "represent sentient beings suffering" was too great, and he was not able to do so; second, he volunteered in the temple, practiced humility, and his anger was in his heart. I wonder why such an advanced person will eventually lose his bodhicitta.

Why will you eventually lose your bodhicitta?

Many monks: Why do progressive people eventually lose the heart of Bodhi?

In this story, 2 billion ears are eager for relief, but they have not been able to learn 37 Taoist products bravely and diligently for a long time. When he was about to lose faith, because the achievements of the beautiful roots of the world were also the moment he deserved, he felt that the Buddha wanted to inspire him.

The Buddha is a wise man who knew that the 2 billion Ears would enjoy playing the piano when he was at home, so he used his familiar life experience - the metaphor of playing the piano to teach him the way to practice: if it is too tight, the strings will break; if it is too loose, the pleasant sound of the piano will not be played. Only by adjusting the strings without being loose or tight, just right, can you play a wonderful piece of music. The same is true for practicing. Continue to diligence according to the middle way. When the causes and conditions are combined, you will be able to absorb the true meaning and attain Nirvana.

After listening to the Buddha's subtle teachings for 2 billion, the Venerable studied the Dharma according to the middle way, and did not attach to happiness or suffering, but did not make any effort or be careless. In this way, he continued to study the thirty-seven levels of the path, and soon obtained the truth and attained Nirvana. Therefore, we must practice the middle way in our practice.

The reason for regressing to Bodhicitta is that he has not yet established a solid and thorough right view of Buddhism. Why do you say this? For example, he vowed to suffer on behalf of all sentient beings, but when his body was inconsistent, he doubted whether his strength was insufficient. He made this vow to make himself sick? He was greedy for his body and could not let go of his ego. He may not have figured out why he vowed to "suffering on behalf of all sentient beings".

Bodhicitta means that you wish to eliminate all evil, practice all good, and save all sentient beings, so that all sentient beings can enter the Nirvana of No Remain and be saved.

How can all sentient beings enter the Nirvana without rest and be destroyed? First of all, we must go through the tempering of all kinds of suffering: we must undergo various training in practice; bear the consequences of all kinds of bad karma since time immemorial; face all realms calmly and not worry about suffering. Only by not worrying about suffering can we learn to "suffer on behalf of all sentient beings."

In fact, suffering on behalf of sentient beings is a kind of vow power, which does not mean that if we have such vow power, we can really serve the karma of sentient beings. The nature of karma is to take it upon oneself. If karma can be taken by others, then Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will help us receive it.

“I am unavailable, and the karma we suffer is just our illusory attachment. Because we have illusory attachments, we have all kinds of suffering and happiness. If there is no illusion and attachment, everything will be like a dream!

If a person fails to establish the right view of cause and effect, his wish to "suffer on behalf of all sentient beings" will not be solid. Once the state comes, doubt will arise.

Because his knowledge and views have not been established yet, and the cause and condition cannot support him properly, when he is uncomfortable, he will doubt his intentions and even his practice. When he doubts, he will feel stressed; when the pressure is not relieved, he will feel depressed and depressed, which will naturally cause various discomforts in the body.

Depression and depression are not endurance. When we have strength, we can also show that we are very well-educated; if we do not have strength, we will be like a volcano erupting.

Summary: This is the end of the introduction to why you will eventually lose your bodhicitta. I hope it will be helpful to you!
