4. TodayA little novice monk devotes himself to studying the Dharma. In time, he can become the Dharma King of the Human and Heavenly Masters.

From these few short sentences, we can deeply understand the good intentions and meanings of the Buddha.The profound persuasion further reflects the Buddha's emphasis on later education.Buddhism is the method of the mind. The entire process of learning Buddhism is from understanding the mind and changing the mind and actions.process.For disciples who are just new to Buddhism, they are like children who are new to school. How compassionate and wise it is to teach them the corresponding practice lessons!As for whether you can become a saint and become a butterfly, it depends entirely on the disciple's piety and persistence.

The original teaching of Yongzhong, and the disciples who convert to worship first practice the nine preliminary practices:

1. Refuge: To purify one's mindAnd take refuge in the Three Jewels;

2. Bodhicitta: develop the supreme and correct mind, enter the Mahayana Buddhism;

3. KnockHead: Eliminate the five poisons in the heart, greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance and doubt;

4. Hundred-character Ming: Eliminate karma accumulated since time immemorial;

5. Mandala: Accumulate worldly and transcendental blessings and resources;

6. The corresponding Dharma of the master: Obtain the blessing of the master, obtain the wisdom of the Buddha, and increase the wisdom and merit;

7. Dharmakaya BuddhaMantra: To understand the mind and see the nature and be self-conscious and perfect;

8. The Mantra of the Buddha’s Reward Body: In order for others to understand their minds and see their nature, they will be perfect;

9. The Mantra of the Buddha’s Heart: To save all sentient beings, you will be fully enlightened.The nine preliminary practices help us eliminate karma and accumulate blessings and increase blessings and wisdom.According to Buddhist scriptures, kowtow is divided into long and short heads. We have talked about kowtowing long heads. Kowtowing short heads is also called kowtowing kneeling and bowing. In Tibetan, it is called "Gexia", which means kneeling and bowing with five bodies on the ground and limbs not stretched out;It is translated as kowtow in Chinese, also known as short rituals, which also belongs to the whole body rituals.After the five bodies hit the ground, their limbs did not stretch out, and after knocking their heads on the ground, they immediately stood up.

According to the ancient Tibetan teachings, the pure faith and respect for all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the Three Jewels are indispensable for both body, speech and mind.Knocking shortly also reflects "body respect". While the five bodies are on the ground, they are constantly reciting Buddhist scriptures and chanting mantras in their mouths, and chanting Buddha in their hearts. The three are unified and combined.According to the time of bowing, there are four types:

1. Knocking for a long time.It means that the amount you set every day is very long, neverKill for decades, or even for a lifetime.Some Tibetans kowtowed 300 times a day until the day of death. This is a long-distance.
