He would take the initiative to climb up to the abbot's seat and open the lecture.The others were dissatisfied. After Master Zhaohua found out, he resolutely went down the mountain to leave.
That night, the mountain god cried and his voice rang like thunder.Only then did the public realize that they had made a big mistake, so they hurriedly rushed back to Zen Master Zhaohua, confessed to him, and prayed to the Zen Master to return to the courtyard to lead the crowd.At this time, the mountain god cheered again: "The monk is back!The monk is back!"
A monk named Zhaohua asked, "Is Vimalakirti the Golden Milk Tathagata?""
Zen Master Zhaohua replied: "Yes!"
The monk asked in confusion: "Since Vimalakirti is the Tathagata of Jinsuo, why did Shakyamuni Buddha be the Vimalakirti of Tathagata come to listen to the Dharma when he was preaching?"
Zen Master Zhaohua shouted, "Because he doesn't fight for me!"" "If you want to achieve the prosperity of Buddhism, unless the monk praises the monk." Those who become saints also "the Buddha and Buddha are the same, and the light is not hindered."Jinsu Tathagata came to the Buddha's place to listen to the Dharma, just to spread the Dharma, protect the Dharma, and prosper the Dharma field. There is no distinction between you, me, big or small.Because most people have not broken their ego, they have different characteristics of you, me, men and women, good and bad, and high and low.
When learning Zen, you must learn the wealth in your heart. Don’t be too serious about the fame, wealth, honor, disgrace, and criticism in the world. You must “be able to raise up and let go” in order to have a broad life.Especially among the public, we must establish the spirit of compassion, morality, tolerance and sacrifice. Only by not fighting against others and self in life can we remain the image of a practitioner.
