《"The Jingxinglu" says: "I can't bear it for a moment, and the troubles increase the sun and the moon. ”Being able to endure setbacks means that you have the strength and can take responsibility ; If you cannot tolerate ridicule and slander, you will be troubled and will be difficult to become a great person. Nowadays, young people often show off their courage, draw their swords toward each other for a small matter, and keep a word in their hearts for a long time and cannot be eliminated. Without the skill of enduring humiliation, you will not be able to achieve your goal no matter what you do. You have to care about a word of gossip, and you can't stand a little torture. Such young people who are not capable of coping with the environment cannot take on tasks and create careers. The Buddha said: "If a person who studies Taoism cannot tolerate destruction and scolding, and cannot attack viciously like drinking nectar, he cannot be considered a person who studies Taoism. I remember there was a Japanese film in the past that described the process of Sun Wukong's practice. In the video, Tang Sanzang said to Sun Wukong ︰“If you want to learn the Tao with me, you must stand in the same place every day for a hundred days; After standing, kneel there for a hundred days ; After kneeling, raise your hands for a hundred days ; Then soak it in water for a hundred days and roast it around you for a hundred days... I will teach you Buddhism after going through many tests. ”After hearing this, Sun Wukong followed what Tang Sanzang said, standing still without moving for 100 days, kneeling down without getting up for 100 days, holding his hands high for 100 days, soaking in water for 100 days... After one hundred days, two hundred days, ten hundred days... Finally, Sun Wukong survived all 100 days, and at this time, he also achieved enlightenment. Nowadays, young people cannot stand it because they have not experienced so many hundred days of experience that Sun Wukong has experienced, and have lost themselves by too many reasons and too heavy self-stubbornness. As mentioned above, many hundred days will train our strength and strengthen our will, but how many people can endure it? Everyone hopes that they can succeed, and that they can achieve success in their studies, careers, and raising children. As the saying goes, "I am late to achieve great things", many successes cannot be achieved overnight, and even a tree must be worn by decades of wind and rain before it can grow. As the saying goes, "Ten years of trees, a hundred years of trees" is that people cannot withstand the tempering of time and setbacks, and it is difficult to achieve something. Therefore, there are four conditions for achieving greatness: 1. Be able to withstand the hustle and bustle. People must be able to withstand all kinds of troubles before they can achieve success. For example, as a student, you are so annoying when taking exams alone. You must accept the facts in order to work hard. ; As a teacher, I will guide different students to the same problem and repeat it again and again. I must be able to endure my personality in order to achieve my studies. ; The businessman fails to do business and has to make a comeback ; If the artist's work is broken, it must be done again. The so-called "many people and many things" in the world cannot withstand others' noises, interfere with external environment, and all kinds of tedious things. If you are deeply trapped in troubles, you will not be able to get out of the predicament.
2. Be able to bear the anger. No one in the world is proud and happy every day. Sometimes unsatisfactory things will come one after another, and I feel that I have suffered all the grievances. But can getting angry solve the problem? Being angry will not only fail to achieve good things, but will also lead to bad things. Therefore, when you are angry, you should bear it first and don’t scold others easily ; Tolerate it, don't show anger ; If you endure it in your heart, you will lose your anger and you will be fine in the end. The "Bodhisattva Precepts Sutra" records that when the Buddha was practicing in his past life, he was chased and scolded by five hundred "healthy husbands". They would scold him wherever the Buddha went. The Buddha's attitude was "not a little hatred for that, and he always felt compassionate and saved him and used observation." This kind of practice finally allowed the Buddha to attain the supreme Bodhi. Therefore, we must regard all external rebellions and insults as superior conditions in our careers. People with courage and ability should withstand the blows of storms and storms, and should withstand the attacks and destructions of all demonic obstacles. When honor, disgrace and criticism come, you must be able to endure and be patient, so that you can achieve a career. 3. Be patient and endure setbacks. What should I do when I suffer a blow, criticism, or frame it? Are you fighting with someone or having an argument with someone? This is not the fundamental solution. "Jingxinglu" says: "I can't bear it for a moment, and the troubles increase the sun and the moon. ”When we see the word "forbearance" is a knife in our heart, we can also see the meaning of patience from the structure of this word. If a person does not cultivate the power of patience in his daily life and does not have good cultivation, he will not be able to stand it by inserting a knife into his heart, and he will be unable to stand it if his feet are cut a little and he will scream.
4. Be able to endure time. Sometimes, people's patience is limited. If you can endure for one year, you won't be able to do it for two years.; If you can endure for two years, it won’t work for three years... Such endurance is still not profound enough. Some things in the world often have to endure for one year, two years, ten years, or even endure again and again. If you can endure time, things change and stars change, people will grow, just like seeing flowers blooming, which means that the time when the fruits are ripe. In life, everything must be affordable. A person with open-minded and open mind will see everything with lofty eyes and will not be blinded by the gains and losses in front of him. ; People with narrow minds can compare and care about others everywhere, which only increases their worries. They often fail to succeed or become great. (Public welfare forwarding, Dharma giving, immeasurable merit)
