Master: The question you asked is not very accurate.To be reborn means to go, to be reborn means to be transformed into lotus.This rebirth refers to the rebirth of the Pure Land, which is said to be reborn in the Pure Land.It is not to say that all Buddhist disciples who are lay or monks practice the Pure Land Method. (All can be reborn )There are thousands of people who chant Buddha's name, and those who truly go to the Pure Land and predict the time will be without illness or suffering, and those who are not greedy in their hearts will be like meditation.When you are dying, because the Buddha has not thought of one mind, all kinds of concerns and obstacles, ignorance and delusions, and the spiritual consciousness is in chaos.When you are dying, because of this mental concern and you have not let go, all kinds of delusions are chaotic, like pus and blood. If you don’t have any difference, your mind is as chaotic as numbness. This is the most painful time. When the eight bitternesses are intertwined, it is difficult to raise the thought of Amitabha Buddha when all enemies and creditors come to the present, because you have not achieved any habits in normal times.Usually, most of the body and mind are greedy, anger, and ignorance, and ignorance and delusion. Because the delusion mind is particularly intensive and mature, it appears when it is dying.Those who are heavy are led first.At this time, Amitabha Buddha cannot raise his thoughts, and it becomes hidden. As our ignorance and delusions are born into the six realms or the three realms.So when you get old, it does not mean that you die when you grow old. You cannot know this way, and it is unrealistic to know this way.It is said that when we chant Buddha's name in a scattered manner, we can be reborn in the Pure Land when we are old, so no one will chant Buddha's name. Let's just let it go. Then the Buddha will come to take him in.How can the Buddha guide us if we cannot recite one mind? There are ignorance and delusions that are separated from Amitabha Buddha’s Western Paradise by a distance of 100,800 miles away from us, and we will not meet each other on the other side! There are delusions that are separated from you.

Therefore, the Dharma spoken by the Buddha is true and bright.Isn’t there such a saying: Bliss is easy to go, but no one can lead to it.Is it easy to go to the Pure Land? It is very easy to go. As long as we recite the Buddha's name with one mind and can recite it with one mind, anyone can go.Why is there no one to guide you? The Buddha wants to guide you, but the minds of sentient beings are all ignorant and delusional.The Pure Land is also manifested by the mind alone, and it is also manifested by the thought of Amitabha Buddha. If he has not reached one mind, it is impossible for the Buddha to lead him, because this thought of ignorance and delusion will block us.If the mind is pure, will the country be pure? The Pure Land cannot appear. How can we be born in the lotus? So it is not said that when people die, they are reborn. That is not called rebirth. It is not called rebirth. If they are used to saying that they have been reborn, but in fact they have not been reborn, it is still unfathomable.If you really have rebirth, will the Buddha not say in the sutra: your mind is not greedy, your mind is not inverted, just like entering meditation, you will know that the time is coming.When will Amitabha Buddha come to pick me up? I have my own arrangements. I am not sick and suffering, and my heart is not greedy. It is not like some people who usually recite the Buddha's name without being single-minded. When they are dying, they are ignorant and delusional, their spiritual consciousness is chaotic, and they are confused.So at this time, Amitabha’s thoughts cannot be raised and there is no Amitabha in his heart. How can he be reborn in the Pure Land? This statement has no basis.When we are dying, we do not have a thorough skill in chanting Buddha's name and cannot recite it with one mind. There is still no guarantee of rebirth in the Pure Land.Just at the thought of death, what path we are born into is manifested by this thought.It is only manifested by the mind, as in the Record of Rebirth, it says: There was a Zhang Taihe in the Tang Dynasty. This man took slaughter as his karma. When he was about to die, the realm of hell appeared. Of course, before his spiritual consciousness had left, his spiritual consciousness would go to hell to receive retribution.But at this time, a good teacher and monk told him: Just recite Amitabha Buddha with all your heart, and even recite ten times to be reborn.So he immediately started to think of chanting Amitabha Buddha, and his delusional mind was destroyed.Because he has a murderous intention and a strong murderous aura, he left with a murderous intention at the time of death, so he appears in the realm of hell.At this time, the good teacher told him that he would stop his delusional mind and hell would be gone. The mind would be destroyed.When he mentioned the thought of chanting Amitabha Buddha, Amitabha Buddha came to take him over and showed up.When he is dying, he can recite the thought of Amitabha Buddha, and he will be reborn.The main thing is in his daily work. Of course, he does not recite the Buddha's name in his daily life. This is a special situation because the causes and conditions of the Pure Land in his past lives have matured. In this life, due to the entanglement of past karma, he regards killing as his karma. He does not say that he can raise the thought of Amitabha Buddha without reciting it. This is a special situation, and it is not the case in general.There is still surplus karma. If he didn't practice it in the past, he wouldn't be able to raise this thought when he was dying.
