Ignorance of lust is hard to subdue, how can I solve it?

Question: Master, it is easy to abstain from the evil lust of lay Buddhists at home, and it is difficult to subdue evil thoughts in their thoughts.How to solve it?Please give me a lesson.

Master Cunhai replied: There are many ways in Buddhism.

Lust is the root of life and death of all sentient beings in the three realms and six realms, and the root of the disease since the beginning of time. If you do not do crude sexual misconduct, you will have moral constraints and self-control.Ignorance in thoughts is not good, and Buddhism has the idea of contemplating impurity to cure lust.Master Yin Guang talks about the treatment of evil lust in "Wenchao".

Visualize the old man as his mother and have a grateful heart;The elders are like sisters, the younger ones are like sisters, and the younger ones are like girls.This is a change of thought. Don’t treat him as a desire of a man and a woman, but be a relative, and treat a woman as her own mother, sister, and daughter. This kind of close relative visualization.Use your thoughts to treat her as a relative, and develop compassion to cure your inner lustful thoughts.Second, Master Yin also said that when we see the opposite sex like a poisonous snake, we feel fearful. If you are contaminated with this, we will fall into the six realms of reincarnation, and we will visualize the inner thoughts as a poisonous snake, a devil, etc. and let ourselves. After seeing this, we feel fearful and fearful. In the future, we will fall into hell to subdue our lustful heart.

There is also the view of impurity, observe one's inner impurity, observe the other's impurity, and observe the bones to cure one's lustful mind.If you don’t use this method, you must recite the "Universal Door Chapter" and recite the holy name of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. If you are sincere and respectful, you will be liberated. If you are greedy, anger, and ignorance, you will be liberated. If you are harsh lust, you will be liberated. If you are harsh, you will be liberated. If you are harsh, you will be liberated.When you recite Guanyin Bodhisattva sincerely, with the blessing of the Bodhisattva, the fire of lust can be transformed into coolness after obtaining the water of the Bodhisattva's compassion, and can subdue the lustful heart.Rely on the power of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and rely on observation.Another point is to strictly observe the precepts. There is lust in mind in mind karma, which is mainly the power reflected by the six senses. When the six senses see women, they will become greedy and inseparable. Therefore, Buddhist precepts should stay away from women and cut off external conditions. If there are fewer external conditions, the six senses cannot see them. If you often recite the name of the Bodhisattva, your mind will slowly calm down.

To cure the inner lust, it is not a day to freeze. You can practice every day, do morning and evening classes every day, and recite the name of Guanyin Bodhisattva every day. A tablet of soup cannot cure serious diseases. One or two medicines cannot pull out the root of the disease. You can take medicine every day to cut off the root of lust.In the past, monks also had lustful hearts, and they could subdue them.What should I do if I can’t subdue it?He turned his back to see where the mind that could produce lust and where the mind that could produce thoughts.The mind that can produce lust cannot be obtained, it is a delusion, and the mind that can produce thoughts cannot be obtained. Observing this idea means that where the mind that can produce thoughts is, and looking back, and finding the mind that can produce cannot find the end or the root, it is a delusion.Delusions are habits, which are very difficult to eliminate. This is the root of the cycle of life and death, and it is very difficult to eliminate.

Only by relying on our diligent and brave practice day after day, month after month can we eliminate this root of disease. If the root of lust is cut off, we will attain the Arhat fruit.

Q: Thank you for your compassionate teachings from the master. There is another difficult question.For example, in family life, there are some people whose spouses have been tempted by various modern times to cheat or make mistakes in this regard.On the other side, if you say to be tolerant, sometimes it is unbearable in your heart;If you are not tolerant, break up, for fear of harming your family and children.In this dilemma, how should Buddhist disciples or those who believe in Buddhism encounter such problems?

Master Cunhai replied: If a wife or husband deviates from the rules, you must be tolerant.Everyone makes mistakes, and they cannot control this kind of mistakes. Everyone wants to be a good person and a respected person. However, with this body, a man and a woman, a karma, and lust is also a kind of lust. TV and the Internet, he has already made mistakes. For families, whether men or women, they should hide evil and promote good. Family scandals should not be exposed. They should be tolerant and patiently talk about the consequences of evil lust. If the evil causes are caused, the consequences are very miserable. For example, the promotion of websites for abstaining from sexual misconduct makes many people know that sexual misconduct is a kind of evil retribution in the future.The "Anshi Quanshu" says that if you commit adultery, your fame will be gone and the heavens will be eliminated.Many people lose their personality and their credit because of committing adultery.If you commit it, there is a method of repentance in Buddhism and a repentance will develop.

As the other party, you must be tolerant and not go to the wrong way. This is a solution.Husband and wife are also marriages, good and bad. Buddhism talks about the law of dependent origination. It is not realistic to live together when the fate is over. The fate of husband and wife is not over. It is impossible for you to leave. When the karma is not over, it is difficult to leave. It is very difficult to get rid of it. The family is separated from your wife and children, which is very painful. If you leave, the marriage cannot be terminated, which is very bad.

As a Buddhist disciple, there is a case published online. There was a monk in Kunming who was very rich when he was not a monk.The wife deviates from the rules and commits sexual intercourse with other men. When the husband knows, he is blind and deaf, and pretends not to know.Once, after the husband went out, the woman and her lover were together.The husband came back and bought meat. After he came back, his wife was very frightened and stuffed her lover under the bed.My wife is scared and asked why you came back so early.He said I met a friend on the way and I invited him to dinner today and prepared the meal quickly.

My wife had a terrible heart and the meal was ready, so she asked the guests why they hadn't come yet.The husband went under the bed and called her lover, saying, "You come out, since you like her, let's have a meal."Then I told the girl that since you two have emotions, I will fulfill your love in the world. I will withdraw and give you all my property.He resolutely became a monk and practiced, and finally became the Dragon Elephant Master in Buddhism, which is said to have been enlightened.In the end, his wife's former love was gone. After her lover cheated her of money, she left and there was no love.

This case shows that our troubles are not big.In the eyes of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the sentient beings who commit evil are Buddhas, and the sentient beings who commit good are Buddhas, so we must tolerate them with a greater mind.Pain is because we don’t have enough wisdom, but we still can’t see it. If we see it, don’t think that the body is you. Our body is also a smelly skin and an empty shell. It’s just that our spiritual consciousness lives in it. After our spiritual consciousness is rewarded, our body will be filled with loess.The past is endless, and there are a lot of mounds in front of you, all of them are tombs.Just like birds in the woods, we chatter together, and when the cannon is set off tomorrow, each of them will fly away. Now is a peaceful time. If the Japanese devils come, where will the couples come from? They all run away, and many wives and children are separated and they all flee.

This problem is difficult to get rid of. Why don’t people get up to trouble? Troubles are born from the beginning of time. It is not that we can get trouble today and transform tomorrow.This root is very deep. It has been lost since the beginning of time. Since the beginning of time, it has been lost. If you realize it, it is called Buddha nature. As long as you have this body, you must have this desire.Therefore, it is difficult to achieve success in Buddhism because of this. Buddhism must conquer oneself and challenge oneself, not challenge others, but challenge oneself.So why is it called the Great Hall in the temple? Shakyamuni Buddha no longer conquered people in the world with one shot. He used the method of practice and practiced for six years, which erased the root of lust and the heart of greed, anger and ignorance.He talked about precepts, concentration and wisdom, and the six paramitas and ten thousand practices, so Shakyamuni Buddha is a great hero, which is very amazing.
