The meaning of the Four Noble Truths

Buddhist foundations

"Truth" means that it is not reversed, and it is the truth. The "Noble Truth" is the absolutely correct truth known to the saints. The "Four Noble Truths" speak of four truths: one, the noble truth of suffering; second, the collection of the noble truth; Third, the extinction of the Noble Truth; Fourth, the sacred truth of the way. Only the Buddha can teach it, and the rest can only explain it according to the Buddha, and even Pratyekabuddha can only realize it by himself, and there is no way to save sentient beings with the Four Noble Truths. Pratyekabuddha knows the suffering of the world, the causes of suffering, and the fruit of eliminating suffering, but he cannot speak the "way" to eliminate suffering. This "Tao" is a variety of practice methods, and he has no way to explain and interpret them, so only the Buddha can fully elaborate the Four Noble Truths. Before the Buddha was born, there were no Four Noble Truths, and the other saints became enlightened by observing the twelve causes and conditions. The purpose of the Buddha's explanation of the Four Noble Truths is to tell us about the cause and effect of the world and the cause and effect of the world. "Bitterness" refers to the bitter fruits of the world; "Collection" is the cause of the rise of suffering - worldly causes; "Extinction" is the fruit of suffering extinguishing - the result of going out of the world; "Tao" is the method of eliminating suffering, the path to nirvana - the cause of the world. In the scriptures, there is such a metaphor: the body and mind of sentient beings have all kinds of life and death karma and afflictions, and there are various heart diseases, and the Buddha told sentient beings about this condition and the location of the disease, and pointed out the joy that those liberated saints can get without illness and suffering, and the way to relieve illness and suffering.
